Basic Setup

This guide walks through configuring your Salesforce organisation with Data 360 and Salesforce Personalization. It provides actionable steps for configuring permission sets and configuring Data 360 and Salesforce Personalization establishing data streams, and mapping custom relationships.

Setup User Permission Sets

1. Click on the Setup menu item.
2. In the quick find field, enter Users and select Users from the menu.
3. Select Active Users from the View menu, locate your user account, and click on your name.
4. Click Permission Set Assignments from the top menu, then click Edit Assignments.
5. From the Available Permission Sets list, select Personalization Admin and click Add.
6. Select Personalization Intelligence User and click Add.
7. Click Save.
8. If prompted that the selected permission sets include community settings, click OK.

Configure Data Cloud and Personalization

1. Click Data Cloud Setup and then click Get Started from the Home page.

[ACTION REQUIRED: Review Note] - NOTE: It may take up to an hour for the automated Data Cloud Instance setup process to complete.

2. Click Personalization Setup.
3. On the foundational setup tab, click Select Data Space in the Deploy Foundational Data section.
4. Select the default data space and click Deploy.
