Overview
Calculated Insights (CIs) and Segments give you the analytical building blocks to power targeting rules and rules-based recommenders.
- Calculated Insights — Multidimensional metrics computed over your DMO data (e.g., total spend per customer, most viewed products). CIs can be added to Data Graphs and used in recommender filters or targeting conditions.
- Segments — Groups of individuals who meet defined criteria (e.g., “high-value customers”, “cart abandoners in the last 7 days”). Segment memberships can be added to the Profile Data Graph and used to control who sees what experience.
