Website connector

Updated Nov 4, 2026 Based on Salesforce docs updated 2026-08-27

The Website connector brings visitor behaviour on your site into Data 360 using the Salesforce Interactions SDK, so sites can capture events and personalize content for visitors. Work through these pages in order:

  1. Create the connector and install the SDK — create the website connector and add the Interactions SDK to your site.
  2. Build the sitemap — define the content zones and context variables the SDK captures.
  3. Configure the web event schema — map captured events to the data model.
  4. Handle consent, CSP and flicker defense — respect consent, allow the SDK in your Content Security Policy, and avoid content flicker.
  5. Create the data streams — turn mapped events into a continuous stream into Data 360.
